Delta Goodrem Foundation Celebrates International Nurses Day with St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney 

This year, the Delta Goodrem Foundation announced the launch of the Delta Goodrem Foundation’s Angels and Heroes Nurse Recognition program to support nursing excellence at St Vincent’s Hospital. 

Through the program the Delta Goodrem Foundation will be supporting hospital initiatives to honour, recognise and thank the nurses for everything they do. The program will also provide funding to support nurses with scholarships to undertake post-graduate courses in speciality nursing areas. 

In celebration of this years International Nurses Day, the Delta Goodrem Foundation pledged $300,000 in nursing scholarships over the next three years. As a special guest host at the awards, Delta Goodrem delivered 2500 gift bags to nurses at both St Vincent’s Public and Private Hospitals and announced winners of the inagural Delta’s Angels and Heroes Nursing Excellence awards. These awards honoured two incredible nurses who have demonstrated exemplary care, kindness, leadership and innovation.  

Nurses are the cornerstone of every healthcare system throughout the world, and with such rapid change and unprecedented challenges across the global health environment, it’s more important than ever our nurses are equipped with the skills and expertise to help every patient through their personal health journey.
