Our Mission

What We Stand For

Touching lives and inspiring hearts.

We strive to spread kindness, hope and support for those facing illness, hardship and inequality.

To achieve these goals, the Delta Goodrem Foundation centres its focus on inspiring programming, direct support for meaningful initiatives and forming authentic partnerships to accelerate action.

A Note From Delta

I have been so blessed and inspired throughout my life by the kindness of others. I have always wanted to start my own Foundation in order to continue making giving back a focus of my life and now that dream is a reality.

Through the work of the Foundation, we are committed to making a difference, creating meaningful change and empowering others to do the same by striving to spread kindness, hope and support for those facing illness, hardship and inequality.

We celebrate the human spirit, and strive to cultivate a culture dedicated to the acceptance of our unique differences, while embracing compassion and kindness as we inspire and spark positive change.

While we will be gradually rolling out new initiatives and partnerships, today, I am excited to share the details of our lead collaboration with St Vincent’s Hospital for the launch of the Foundation.

At 18 years old I began treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and my life was forever changed. During this time, I was overwhelmed with all of the love, support and kindness I received from the public, friends, family, and my incredible team of healthcare providers at St Vincent’s Hospital. Since then, I have had a close connection to St Vincent’s as the Patron of the Kinghorn Cancer Centre and helping to raise over $7.3 million for the new Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplant Ward at St Vincent’s Hospital.

As we launch the Delta Goodrem Foundation, I am so proud to announce our partnership with St Vincent’s Hospital and The Kinghorn Cancer Centre that has the power to save lives. We will be supporting a new Fellowship program dedicated to research for finding a cure to blood cancers like Hodgkin’s Lymphoma to be known as the Delta Goodrem Foundation Fellow in Cellular Therapies.

Cellular therapies uses a patient’s own cells as treatment. It has the potential to transform bone marrow transplantation and cure many types of blood cancers and other diseases as well as help to fight infection and increase immunity.

The goal of the Delta Goodrem Foundation and St Vincent’s Hospital is to bring together their lab research and patient trials along with their international collaborations to rapidly advance novel therapies and interventions that will alleviate the suffering of the hundreds of thousands of people worldwide afflicted with malignant and auto-immune diseases.

Please join us as we endeavor to create a kinder, more compassionate and hope filled world.
