Foundation Update

The Delta Goodrem Foundation had a remarkable year in 2022, achieving great success for our partners St Vincents’ Hospital Sydney, St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and the Delta Goodrem Foundation Fellowship in Cellular Therapies.

Delta Goodrem Foundation Fellowship in Cellular Therapies advances research into improving treatment for blood cancers such as Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and is responsible for providing care for clinical trial patients while they undergo cellular therapy treatments for the management of their lymphoma.

The Delta Goodrem Foundation Fellowship has enabled haematologists Dr Ashlea Campbell and Dr Georgia Mills to increase their knowledge of lymphoma and to work closely with patients participating in clinical trials, particularly those that have undergone many rounds of chemotherapy treatments.

The funding of the two Fellows by the Delta Goodrem Foundation has increased the opportunities for lymphoma patients, particularly those from regional and remote access, to access clinical trials.

This year, we welcome with open arms the recruitment of a new Delta Goodrem Fellow, Dr Helen Cashman.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this very special milestone and result we are super proud of.

Your continued support will ensure the Delta Goodrem Cellular Therapy Research Fellow unit can continue their efforts to build their research capacity, support the expansion of clinical trial offerings and accelerate advancements in specialist patient care.
